Director of Community and Economic Development

The Carver County Community Development Agency seeks a creative, strategic thinker to direct and manage community development, redevelopment programs and economic development initiatives in conjunction with the cities of Carver County; to work with the Chamber of Commerce organizations on tourism; oversee the administration and management of multi-family and single-family projects using finance programs and manage department staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Urban Studies or Planning, Economic Development or closely related field required and 5 years of progressively responsible experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) overseeing community and economic development programs and housing finance with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
